מיקרופון זה הוא חלק ממערכות שונות בסדרה SHURE BLX.
הסדרה כוללת אפשרות להתקנה ולהפעלה של עד 9 מערכות שונות בקבוצה 
בתדרים שונים בו זמנית במקום אחד.
לפריטים בסדרה יש יכולת נעילת לחצנים למניעת טעות בהפעלה או שינוי לא מורשה.
ההפעלה נעשית על ידי בחירת תדר בסריקה במקלט והתאמה ידנית של התדר במשדרים.  
המשדרים במערכות כוללים שתי סוללות 1.5 וולט למשך פעולה עד 14 שעות.

 ניתן לחבר את היציאה דרך מתאם SHURE MVi למחשבים לביצוע הקלטות.
